Roles and Responsibilities – Advisory Committee

As a member of the Advisory Committee, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities to ensure the conference's success:

  • Understand Conference Responsibilities: Familiarize yourself with the conference tasks and the specific duties of each committee. Play a key role in executing the program structure and scientific agenda.
  • Identify Leading Research Experts: Actively seek renowned experts to participate, utilizing the organization’s services and network to their advantage.
  • Align with Program Strategy & Engage Keynote Speakers: Ensure that the conference program aligns with the event's objectives. Engage with and confirm keynote speakers and the Guest of Honor to secure their commitment to the event, including topics and dates.
  • Develop Presentation Plans & Foster Interaction: Design comprehensive strategies for conference presentations and foster interaction among participants. Introduce speakers or facilitators to promote active participation.
  • Select Preeminent Keynote Speakers: Identify and invite the foremost keynote speaker for each specific field of expertise.
  • Oversee Conference Tasks & Deadlines: Manage conference activities and tasks, ensuring that all deadlines are met as outlined in the conference schedule.
  • Collaborate on Publicity Efforts: Work alongside the Project Manager to assess and manage publicity, including social media campaigns, website content, flyers, notifications, and posters, ensuring a consistent message across all platforms.
  • Engage Local Researchers: Identify key local researchers and provide them with opportunities to participate, facilitating their involvement through organizational support and services.
